I've been investing for several years now. In terms of all asset classes I put 10 % of my total portfolio into gold and silver bullion. I put 15 % into rental real estate and another 15 % into farm produce and commodities. The biggest chunk goes into stocks at 50 %, and I try to maintain cash at 10 %. I like what John Bogle suggests, which is to allow yourself 5 % gambling money where you are allowed to take big bets in the hopes of huge gains. I think that is a fair number since we all have some urge to gamble but must be careful and diligent with our investments. In terms of bonds and debt instruments, I don't even touch them, which makes me want to do a video/article as to why bonds have become bad investments.

If you end up making a video or article - post it on steemit so I can find it! That sounds interesting! What % do you put in cryptos? Does that portion fall into the stocks or metals category? I am only asking, not to be nosey but because I think overall you have a fantastic strategy (I'm more heavy on the metals though, but thats beside the point). Thanks again for continuously replying my friend - I sincerely appreciate the conversation
