Time Travel may have already been invented but there is a problem

Time travel is presented in movies as if it’s simple as pie. Just jump in your car and get to 55 MPH and your in 1955. What about getting in a Hot Tube and your back in 1986. Yes I was one of the few people that enjoyed Hot Tub Time Machine (the original mind you) because I like time travel. However there is a major problem with time travel that hit me like an airplane hitting the sound barrier.

The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy. It’s a spiral galaxy because it’s moving. Some estimate the speed of our solar system at 514495 MPH. Running some quick math If you went back in time just five minutes your going to be 4287 miles out in space.

This is why the past never changes.

Clever :) but reason is more prosaic, as time travel is already achieved with special constraints for photons, your body has too much elemental particles, no way to condense such computational power with Moore law, at this point Moore's law suppress your potential to grow and teleportation, it's constraint from top now :)
And a modified version of the double slit experiment demonstrate how to change past from future as well.
But really, is in it beautiful and counterintuitive idea travel across the Universe using simple time travel protocol ?
@vrdad you need to build maps where in Milky Way we can travel this way !!

May be you want to try :)

Written with Copernicus.

if time travel was real, we would have probably made contact with ourselves.

Maybe we haven't though because the human race doesn't live long enough to create it and we destroy ourselves before time travel is created.

If we send someone back in time they better be able to breathe space!
