Taken while in downtown Minneapolis a few days ago. Even though the look
of it is different, newer buildings restaurants. New street on
The Nicollet Mall. Stores that weren’t there before, more
outdoor seating on the mall.

But somethings don’t change people still walking here and there
or resting for awhile. Business people on the move. People
gathered together waiting for public transportation.

I did notice that it looked cleaner than what it was before
they tore up the mall. I still remember what it looked
like back in the 80s a lot of places have come and
gone. There was no light rail. But l guess that’s what you call progress.

That's one interesting part of getting older, you can remember how things were in the decades before. It's such a cyclical thing. I'm amazed by how different downtown St. Paul is now compared to when I moved here in 1995. Lowertown was just starting to be renovated then. Great shots!

Thanks buddy.
