Two men were killed and three individuals were injured in discrete shootings on Thursday, including an assault at an Uptown Starbucks that harmed a 12-year-old kid, Chicago police said.
In the latest manslaughter, a 29-year-old man was discovered shot in an auto in the Far South Side's Roseland neighborhood around 10:05 p.m., police said. Officers reacted to a call of a man shot in the 11200 piece of South Perry Avenue and found the man injured in the driver's seat of a stopped vehicle. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was articulated dead, police said.
The man was distinguished as Rahsaan Adams, as per the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. He lived in the 7200 piece of South Seeley Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, the workplace said. He was articulated dead at 10:52 p.m.

A man, 28, was dead at the scene following the shooting around 8:10 p.m. at the Starbucks, 4753 N. Broadway, at Lawrence Avenue, as indicated by police.
