This is the shadow of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. It is tallest building in the world and so it must follow that it has the tallest shadow of any building in the world. This image is from my earlier post about my visit to the top of the Burj Khalifa.

And very distinctive. You couldn't mix it up with anything else. It dominates the landscape from everywhere and anywhere.
It is a building that we talked about it a lot in the university since I'm a civil engineer :) nice shot!
It is a very impressive building. I made a few posts and a video about my visit to the top of the observation deck here on steemit. It is an engineering marvel. It must have been great for you to study it as a civil engineer.

It is a must see if you go to Dubai. It is epic in every way and what is more. It is a beautiful building as well as a marvel of the modern world.
My word, that is one heck of a shadow :-O But then like you say, it is one heck of a building. :-)
It is just astonishing in it's conception and execution. The beauty of the thing is what stuck in my mind. It was a bit of a surprise.
To see how much land that shadow covers from base to tip is very much astonishing.

such an amazing building wish i'll be able to visit it someday, because i know the view from the top will be amazing especially at night.
A lot of people go up there just before sunset to get both the day view and the night view of the city. You will make it there one day. I am sure.

The blue river in the distance? I believe it's the Dubai creek.
