RE: Shadow Contest Round 38- Laundry Shadows

No! Your posts are wonderful. I love reading them. The way you write is really entertaining. I was just making more of a comment on how I don't write enough on my posts! I like taking pictures more that I do writing, and my posts are often too brief. I need to work on that.

oh ok well if you ever see anything that needs improved on mine feel free to tell me and I'd be grateful!
Who said that your's are too brief? I think short ones can be very effective.
I thought the Black Hawk one was perfect.
That sounded like a pretty big war and I never even heard of it!

It was a big deal in this part of the country and I suspect most kids today have never heard of it either. I know I could have written more, but didn't feel like looking up all the names and dates. Okay. I'm done I'm spending more time correcting typos than I am actually writing words. See you tomorrow

howdy one last time tonight Melinda...well I thought it was fine the way it was, I was just curious because of my interest in Indian events. Like who made that fine statue, was that a descendant?

Larado Taft (distant descendant of President Taft) was a talented sculpture and created elaborate fountains and statues. There are many books and videos about the Black Hawk War. I've read a couple but it's been a while so all my facts are not right in the forefront. If you ever become interested to read up on it I have more photos of some of the places that played a role in the war.

Thank you melinda010100. I may need those if I decide to do a series on the subject, I probably will someday so thank you!

I would love that! We could do a colaboration.... Your story and words and my photos!

there ya go! that would work and I'm sure it will happen someday. I cold say "here's my photographer's photos!" lol. and put your name all over the post, people wouldn't know who to thank.
