RE: Multyipool that pays in Steemit

in #sha2568 years ago

DO YOU WANT SOME HELP SETTING UP A POOL ASAP? Be glad to help get things going with you as I have server space, hosting, etc., and some coding know how to get a basic pool up and running. I up-voted your an earlier post of yours about the lack of help when it came to running into a websocket connection error (I am running into similar problems, and I found the lack of help astonishing considering people on Steem will publish a dissertation on a topic to help anyone with anything....except for mining Steem....I also picked up on the fact that there are very few miners actually mining Steem....I have over 200 sever cores at my disposal, and I can get past a silly websocket error. I have a feeling that there is a "secret code" in the config.ini file....i.e. something that needs to be entered, but none of the tutorials mention anything novel, and none of the people who are actually mining actually do anything to help others get started. I became friends with one of the well know miner software developers and I may throw some BTC his way to figure out what the problem is and to see if there is a way to implement an actual STEEM mining pool--not a multipool where the most profitable coin is mined, but a pool where STEEM is mined. Because, well, STEEM is the most profitable cryptocurrency to mine right now and it seems that the few who are actually mining want to keep that club small and exclusive and I hope to be a major pain in their asses....This "social blockchain" was supposed to have a sense of community -- not exclusion (at least that's the devs party line--a kinder, more gentle community that helps it's fellow members...Right now, as I see it, I'd have to call bullshit on that statement. Let me know if you'd like some help getting this going....I have a lot of free time I'd like to devote to busting up this monopoly on Steem mining.
