Tottenham Hotspur made it 2-1 at Juventus to draw a 2-2 draw in the Champions League last 16.
Higuain took the lead in the second and ninth minutes, before the Spurs beat Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen in the 35th and 72th minutes.
With this result, Tottenham need to win a draw or a draw with at least one goal for each team in the second leg, to ensure that they qualify for the quarter-finals.
The return leg will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on March 7.
