2018!!
Happy New Year Everybody!
So i guess the new years resolutions will start popping out from all angles and i'm sure fanatsy premier league is right up there in the mix for all you fantasy lovers!
Soooo, an eventful last gameweek with Mo Salah saving many with a brace and boy are we thankful for that.
The first double gameweek is upon us and it will be super interesting to see how people handle it! How many will use their triple captain chip, how many will turn to the free hit! I may be turning to my triple captain and if you are playing a catch up game in some of your leagues it might be a good opportunity to catch up!
3 Week Outlook
Spurs- Spurs seem to have finally hit the form that seen them finish 2nd in the league 2 years in a row and with Harry Kane on a high the Swans, West Ham, Everton and Southampton in the next 3 gameweeks keep your eye on them. With the double header next Spurs could be the highest scoring fantasy points team in the next 3 gameweeks.
The other top 4 contenders have tough games coming up and with United's slip in form Spurs top the 3 week outlook.
One's to watch
Dele Alli- It took Dele Alli a good few months to finally realise the form that showed us a what a bright young English talent he is. With 2 very impressive displays in the last 2 and the run of fixtures Spurs have coming up, Alli is surely one to watch. Yes, I know i mentioned him in the last post, but that's just how strongly i feel about him.
Alexis Sanchez- Finally showing some of the form that made him the highest scoring fantasy player last season. Sanchez could be a key differential if he continues with that form. Only selected by 2.8% of teams, it's worth giving him a second look. Just a warning though, he might want to push himself out of the club now in Jan, so that's a key watchout.
Captain Picks
Harry Kane- the record striker is surely the no.1 choice for this Gameweeks double header with 2 back to back Hatricks, he is surely not going to be overlooked. Alli, Son and Erikson could also well be captain choices in this gameweek.
Marco Arnautovic- another player that is playing twice, Arnautovic has found form under Moyes and in his reformed position he might just find himself on the scoresheet again!
Raheem Sterling- Looking away from the double header Sterling is the next best option with a home game against Watford. Sterling was rested in this gameweek, only coming on for 33 minutes Pep is surely going to bring his Top Scorer back into the lineup.
Hope you all have a prosperous 2018!
