Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 12 Review and Tips-3 week outlook, one's to watch and captain picks!

in #sfpl7 years ago

OMG was that not theeeee longest ever international break! It took forever to get the premier league back.

Now we can feel excited about life again! :)

Some very interesting fixtures this week and it kicks off with a very tasty London Derby at Saturday lunch time!

Arsenal vs Spurs looks to be the fixture of the weekend, with Arsenal showing some 'improved' form of late but Spurs still being as consistent as can be, this may prove to be a great game for the neutrals!

3 week outlook

in terms of the upcoming next 3 gameweeks, the teams with the most positive upcoming fixtures would be Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Manchester United!

Bournemouth- Eddie Howe's team did not get of to the best start in the 2017/2018 season, but in recent weeks they've shown improved form and with Huddersfield, Swansea and Burnley in the next 3(2 of which are at home). Bournemouth could be looking to pick up at least 6 points out of 9.

Crystal Palace- Now it might be crazy to call out Crystal Palace, however the next three games for them feature 2 home games against Everton and Stoke, followed by an away trip to Brighton. If Palace do not rock up over the next 3 games, it may be too late for them to recover.

Manchester United- The Red Devils have been poor of late with 2 losses in the last 3 so the international break could not have come at a better time for them. With home games against Newcastle and Brighton coming up United will look to kick off the way they started the season. Their 3rd game will be their toughest away to Watford but if United bounce back in their upcoming 2 games they should get a 3 out of 3.

One's to watch

Joe Gomez- with a man of the match performance against Brazil in his first full debut, Joe Gomez showed the potential he has defending really well against the likes of Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and co. Although a Liverpool defender is a risky move, i feel obligated to point out that in Liverpools first 5 Home games they have only conceded 1 goal. With Nathaniel Clyne out for the long term, Joe Gomez could be a key defender at 4.6M to use in Liverpools home fixtures.

Romelu Lukaku- Yes, the big Belgian has lost his way a bit in the last few games, not scoring in any of Uniteds last 4 Premier league games, however, with the upcoming fixtures mentioned earlier and the fact that he's scored 3 goals for Belgium(becoming their all time lead scorer) his confidence will be back. He's definitely one to watch in the next few weeks.

Ben Mee- in the last 2 games Ben Mee picked up 2 clean sheets and 5 bonus points in total. With Burnley looking as strong and organised as ever, with 5 clean sheets already this campaign. Ben Mee could offer great value at 4.5M.

Captain Picks

Romelu Lukaku- Yes Newcastle defend well, but a full of confidence Lukaku could break his duck with a brace this weekend.

Mo Salah- The Egyptian magician has been in super form and is now the second highest scoring fantasy player! If Liverpool continue their good home form he could find himself on the scoresheet yet again.

Wilfred Zaha- If Palace are going to survive this season they will be looking to Zaha to rescue them. With 2 goals in his last 4 Zaha could be the key difference in the Everton game.

Hope you enjoyed the post! Goodluck this weekend!
