People give pleasure to each other all the time in various forms - sharing food, good conversation, hugs and physical gestures - and most of the time it is seen as a gift. Just not when it causes arousal.
Our society has a inherent bias against sexuality. It's just an act you can do with your body, and a pretty amazing one at that.
But we are taught from a young age that sex is bad, by our parents, teachers and priests. It's all fear-based nonsense, and I think it's time to let go of these negative attitudes toward sex.
Thanks for this amazing thought @narrativelysp. I think the most important matter is how we value morality for women. As a country who focused much on faith and religion, I guess that's the major reason.
