Barrel-aged Beer at Cascade Barrel House - 7 Day Black & White Challenge

In this photo from 2011, we see just a few out of the hundreds of barrels that Cascade Brewing uses to barrel-age their beers. I took this photo while visiting Portland for the Beer Bloggers Conference. A few of use went to lunch and after lunch we asked the front of the house if we could see the back, they said no. So a few of us knocked on the back door anyway, introduced ourselves, and the folks in the back said, "sure come on in!" They were in the process of drying fruit (more photos later) and also let us check out the barrel room. It was a really cool experience to say the least.
