This is my thing with beer, it's generally inoffensive (obviously with many delightful exceptions) unless you get those 11% monsters that can go either way. Typically I like a spirit that makes me go woahhhh what the hell was that? Keeps me interested, like maintaining a relationship...

Yeah, with beers it's much rarer that I get wow'ed or rekt. With rums there are all kinds of ups and downs.
