Greetings, everyone
This is my fourth entry for the #seven77 challenge promoted by @nathanmars / @steemarmy in his attempt to take Steem to 7$. I think that Steem, and Steemit in particular, can provide the best window for unfiltered news and cultural interchange.
Here I was at the basketball court across Bermudez Square, in Cumaná. This is one of the best kept courts in the city; one of the two courts in town in the state with fiber glass boards. There is only one court in the whole city with wooden floor (at the Gimnasio 26 de Octubre). This tells something about sports facilities in Venezuela. We are talking about a 400,000-people city, the capital of the State of Sucre, the so-called Primogenita del Continente(first city found in the whole continent). And yet, children and adults alike have a hard time finding adequate facilities and safe spaces where to practice their favorite sports.
I am doing the challenge for several reasons, both personal and related to Steemit. This time I want to focus the infinite possibilities Steemit offers for anyone to become a blogger/reporter. I am also doing it for a country where…
1 Youth
2 can
3 enjoy
4 sufficient
5 modern
6 sports
7 facilities
And Steemit, where
Those are great reasons. Thank you for participating! !tip
