It is the nature of human beings that they desire to have more & more things in this imperfect world. But it is not necessary that we can achieve the things that we desire to have. We should attempt to achieve the things but the ways we follow should be moral. We should attempt to achieve the things according to necessities not according to desires because necessities can be fulfilled not the desires. The man who wants to fulfil his desires have to follow the immoral ways. In such situations they do not care for the results. That is harmful for them. In this reference there is a story.
In a small village there was a poor farmer who worked very hard. By working hard, he reformed his economic conditions and became a landlord. His desires increased more & more. One day God appeared before him & asked to take as much land as he desired. For this purpose God asked him to make a round of the land that he wanted from sunrise to sunset. He was asked to start from a definite point at sunrise and to come at the same point at sunset. He started in the morning from the definite and did not eat & drink the whole day. On the way he was attracted very much by the beautiful fields of land. He wanted to make a round of more & more land. So he could not reach at the point by sunset. He fell down on the way and died. And could not acquire even an inch of land. He couldn’t fulfil his desires. So we should have satisfaction in life because satisfaction is the real wealth.
