I agree. The 8th season was for sure too hastily told. I could definitely see the 8th season all being about the lead up to the Battle of Winterfell and then 2 more seasons to lead up to the Battle of Kings Landing and its aftermath... But such is the case when a TV show takes the reins of the storyteller before the long form of the story can be told. Can you imagine if Disney had bought the rights to the Tolkien stuff after The Two Towers?

I can only think about what Amazon will do with the Wheel of Time, now that they are beginning to produce it only after all 14 books have been completed and published. This will be better!

@shanghaipreneur, I also think it's gonna get better, too. I'm also curious to see which storyline will tell Amazon with the Lord of the Rings series. Or what Netflix will do with The Witcher.

Amazon is doing The Silmarillon? And what is The Witcher? I’m not familiar with that one.
