They did only make six episodes, like BBC series rather than the typical 10 for many Netflix series. That might be why it hasn't had a mid-season lull yet in your experience. I haven't watched it yet, so I can't weigh in, other than noting the number of episodes. Thanks for pointing out what looks like it could be an interesting show, which had escaped my radar.
