RE: A journey to Loving Yourself More | Self-love

in #selflove3 years ago

I've been in similar depressed states during my homeless years when I was suicidal. It wasn't for a relationship, but I did feel worthless, broken, and alone at the time. Thank you for writing about your experiences with heartbreak and 'asking why.'

How can you love someone more when you don't even love yourself?

This is such an important question. We can all only love others as much as we love ourselves first. We can all only understand others as much as we understand ourselves first. We can all only uplift others, as much as we uplift ourselves first. Love starts within, then overflows towards others.

I'm so happy you learned the art of letting go and loving yourself.

Embrace your flaws and learn from your mistakes... Focus on improving yourself and acknowledge those people around you who loves you.

Good advice and a great post, thank you. :) 🙏
