Today I am going examine the Triple Warmer Meridian [Triple Heater] as it is one of the most commonly misunderstood meridians on the body.
First the meridian is known by 2 different names. The older of the 2 names to my knowledge is the Triple Heater Meridian, but today it is most commonly referred to as the Triple Warmer Meridian. But no matter which name you prefer to call it this is one of the most powerful and important of the 12 meridians on the body.
Triple Warmer Meridian - General Facts
The Triple warmer Meridian is located on the upper extremities beginning in the ring finger. Below are a list of the meridian attributes.
23 Pressure Points beginning on the ring finger and terminating at the temple near the corner of the eye.
Fire Element Meridian
Polarity is Yang
Stance is forward bo or walking stance.
Sound is Hee
Colour is red
Diurnal Cycle or time of day is 9:00 to 11:00 pm.
