Infinitesimally small

We are all afraid. All of alone in one way or another. All of searching for meaning in the strangest places. But we forget to search in the one place that matters, in our own minds, where everything you are or ever have been resides. We are all depressed. All of us dealing with sadness. All of us feel lonely and neglected. We all seek companionship in places we later regret. In the arms of a friend, or the bed of a stranger. We are all betrayed. For we seek companionship in every place but our own hearts. We never befriend or love ourselves enough.

We are all sold a bill of goods. A culture. A philosophy. A religion. An orthodoxy of things to believe. We seek the divine in everything, from rocks to the clouds in the sky. But do we forget, for some reason, to look inside our own souls? In that little spark, infinitesimal in size yet all-encompassing in power, that is the very core of us. Do we forget that we too are divine?

We are all judged. We are all made to feel dirty and sick simply for being unlike others. We are all made into outcasts even as we are told to conform. We are all broken by the weight of those judgments and the price of those philosophies. For we seek to conform to something that is not real. No God or Gods are judging you, they already know your true heart. You are judging yourself and doing it by the standards of others.

Should you judge yourself, do it in fairness. Do it with justice at heart, for in justice, in fairness, and in forgiveness, will you finally see what you really are. Infinitesimally small yet incomparably beautiful.
