you can find yourself many times dismissing emotional painful experiences, then running away back to the comfort zone. it has always been that way. run away from suffering, go back to what feels safe. and of course this can be the right thing to do in many areas, but sometimes not so much when addressing your emotional health.
you see, emotional pain resides in unsolved matters. the longer it remains untreated, the more painful it gets.
fortunately it can be treated, unfortunately it requires you to accept some real change.
but i'm not here to tell you to change. not at all
I wrote this post to tell you this:
If you ever feel stuck and tired of how life plays out for you, remember that whenever something triggers emotional pain inside of you, it is a great moment.
it tells you that you have just reached a point where there are unsolved matters causing the pain.
In my opinion this is how life tells you where to go and what to do.
you don't have to solve anything yet..but you can try and accept painful situations, you can know that they are there to guide you to a better place.
