Introduction---My Ethos

in #self-help8 years ago

What's up everybody,

For my first post on Steemit, I'd like to share my ethos. Hopefully you can take something from it.

  1. Clear away the clutter. (clickbait, drama, anger, animosity)

  2. Pull out these harmful weeds and replace them with fresh flowers. Sow seeds of gratefulness and creative ideas.

  3. Never undercut the people I care about.

  4. Never push friends and family down to lift myself up when feeling down.

  5. Be honest and respectful of those who are honest and respectful of me.

  6. Do the right thing and do right by loyal allies who want to see me succeed.

  7. Don't give in to anyone's vision of success. Stand firm by my long-term vision.

  8. Be persistent, even in the face of resistance.

  9. Maintain an optimism and positivity, even when the chips are down.

  10. Stay humble, even when things are rolling my way.

  11. Be a continual, habitual learner and and never become complacent.

  12. Realize I know nothing and that is the only thing I know.

  13. Have the balls to say no. Do everything from my nuts.

  14. DO not give in to worry, fear or doubt. Never become arrogant. Never judge or place blame on others.

  15. Give others the credit.

  16. Be of service to everyone around me, and feel a sense of compassion for everyone I encounter.

  17. Realize some people are different than I am. Do not hold it against them.

  18. Have the balls to take calculated risks but don't be reckless.

  19. Continue to grow and develop. Listen to my gut instinct as I do.

  20. Stay on this path I’ve chosen.

  21. Live by this manifesto and get better each and every day.
