أعلن المدير التنفيذي لـ Bitgo -مايك بالشي- الأسبوع الماضي عبر تدوينة له أن Segwit2x Hard Fork التي كان من المفروض أن تطبق في الشهر الحالي قد تم إلغائها و السبب هو عدم حصول المشروع على إجماع مجتمع البيتكوين.هذا القرار كان تحت النقاش لمدة ثلاثة سنوات و لم يتمكن مجتمع هذه العملة من إنهاء الحوار بينهم بالموافقة على الـ Segwit2x مع أنهم يعلمون بأن هذه الخطوة لا مفر منها و هذا ما قاله Mike Belshe
مع ارتفاع رسوم البلوكتشاين، رفع حجم البلوك سيكون إجباري و لكن عدم تطبيق الفكرة الآن راجع لأهمية تماسك مجتمع البيتكوين.
