Are you motivated by what you really want out of life, or are you mass motivated?
every man must do two things alone, he must do his believing and his own dying. making comparisons is a path to frustration. comparison is never proof of anything, you cant clear own fields while counting the rocks on your neighbor's farm. the grass may be greener on the other side of the fence, but there's probably more of it to mow. hills look small and green a long way off.
it's a waste of time and energy when you compare your life to that of other people. life is more fun when you don't keep your score against others. happiness can be found by doing what you do best and not worrying about what the other person is doing. do you say "I'm good, but not as good as i ought to be", or do you compare and say "I'm not as bad as a lot of other people". if i compare myself to other steemians like @paradise found and so many others i will never write any post.
Don't think you are necessarily on the right road because its a well beaten path. the greatest risk in life is to wait for and depend on others for your security and satisfaction. the only standard to compare yourself to is God's will and word for your life.
so therefore, i encourage you all be yourself, do the best you can and leave the rest for God to handle for there is nothing he can not do.
