You're right, combining video and audio would definitely improve the quality of sound. I wasn't sure if it's allowed in the contest, I mean, how literally should I understand the rule that the video shouldn't be edited :)
The MIDI stop just enables MIDI on the corresponding keyboard :)

Editing means switching camera angles which breaks the continuous take of the piece. Though you can add a camera angle picture-in-picture if you wanted. Great to see your entry and look forward to your future ones.
