Secrets of Organ Playing | Vierne

This is Cortége by Vierne from Trois Improvisations transcribed by Duruflé. In this recording, I chose to place my recording device within the sanctuary to simulate a larger room. This organ is better for Baroque or Classical music, but I am fascinated with French music, specifically Vierne. I love this piece and think it would make a great postlude or recital opener, or even an encore. It is so much fun to play!

Beautiful piece and solemn playing! I imagine you could improvise this piece, just like Vierne did.

Thank you so much! I think I could, too. Its having confidence, but I think that comes with just doing it! 😊🎹🎶❤
