This is one of the best Q and A's I've ever read! Love the mentioning of black swan theory, which is actually a lesson series Im currently writting about. Although it hasn't received much attention yet, I'm writing it because I believe that it has real value. This ties back to Stellabelle's answer that she was doing something different and useful when nobody else was at the start of Steemit. When you contribute real value honestly, you can eventually make luck work in your favor and engineer black swan opportunities.
Thanks for the insightful post!
PS: it would be amazing to one day hear Joe Rogan or Tim Ferriss interview Stellabelle. I believe that it could happen and would be very entertaining and thought provoking.
are you saying that fame is around the corner? This might sound egotistical, but there is in fact, little difference between me and the self-help guru gods that rise to the top of my LinkedIn feed as far as life happiness is concerned. They may have more money than me, but I believe i possess more pure joy, as my joy is derived from the feeling of not being separated from nature nor people. I had 2 days of enlightenment that came naturally to me. It's worth striving for to have more days like that. I didn't use any weird techniques or even meditation. It occurred naturally and spontaneously. It was rather like a lightning bolt hit me. I really should have documented it better but in those days of existing without a past or future, purely in the moment, I could not be bothered by such activities as recording my present moment.
It's funny you mention Tim Ferriss because I read his 4 hour work week book back in 2007. I credit him with planting the first seeds of leaving the 9-5 world.
