What color do you see on a leaf ??? Generally everyone will answer Green. But for Concetta Antico, he not only saw the Green color on a Leaf, but there was more than one color.
"At the edges I see orange or red or purple in the shadow, you might see dark green but I see violets, toska and blue. Like the mosaic of color" Concetta Antico
Concetta was born with a Tremendous Genetic condition called Tetrachromacy, which means the eyes of Concetta have four color receptors. Where humans normally only have three receptors (trichromacy), so this condition makes it "Super Power" to see hundreds of millions of colors.
In humans mentioned in a study that there are only 2-3 percent of the world population that has this Super Power, and most of them work as artists. Concetta himself who works as a new painter is diagnosed in 2012 and by a leading eye Dr. Jay Neitz from the University of Washington Medical School.
As one of only a few people with Tetrachromacy, Concetta collaborates with Dr. Jay Neitzz as the subject of scientific research. One result will be to determine how the ability of the perception of color distinguishes itself from other painters who do not have Tetrachromacy.
"This condition allows me to see a vague color variation, which is different from what can be seen from normal vision." My natural visual world is truly fascinating. The world is amazing and stimulating to my eyes, enabling me to describe what I see, what I like best and what which I live in. The beauty that surrounds me is my inspiration. "Written By Concetta Antico In his Personal Website, concettaantico.com

Since childhood in Australia, Concetta is already interested in the art world. He paints with impressionism styles like van Gogh, Monet or Cezanne. His late mother became his greatest supporter until he became famous as it is today.
After his mother died when he was only 12 years old, his life really on the spearhead. Even at the age of 16, he only had about 3 dollars, a small suitcase and so homeless.
"No goal, so bum for a long time, then I immediately get a job, an apartment, finish high school and work while studying," Concetta Antico
He does not leave his love for painting, because by painting he can 'tell' to others what he saw and how bright the color of the world from his eyes. Soon he immigrated to California, Los Angeles, USA, and opened his first studio and gallery there.
Beyond helping researchers to better understand tetrachromacy, Concetta hopes to open an art school for those who are color blind. He also wants to create an online container for all people in the world to see if they have Tetrachromacy.
"I want to reassure before I die that I can define this (tetrachromatism) .Sure there are still a lot of them who have it out there Maybe I can direct them" Concetta Antico
