Is Artificial Intelligence our future?

Chapter 1. What is Artificial Intelligence?

How many of you know about “artificial intelligence”? What comes to your mind when you hear it? If you are sci-fi lover and frequently watching sci-fi movies then you will probably think about ultron a robotic villain from the “Avengers-Age of ultron” of course I’m not in that movie LOL. One thing is same that they resemble the human characteristics but sometimes it gets worst. Well, artificial intelligence is a both difficult and easy term to understand. Either you get definitions that are too indefinite and offer little substance, or definitions that are too technical and require prior knowledge of mathematics and statistics to understand.

Now we are going to start with the technical definition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of a machine or a computer program to think and learn. The concept of AI is based on the idea of building machines capable of thinking, acting, and learning like humans.
Whether you realize it or not, our world is going through a major transition we speak. We are entering the era of artificial intelligence and machine learning. A future where machines will be doing many of the jobs that humans are currently doing today.
As a result, the software industry is also going through significant transition as well. In the past, we’d have to explicitly program a computer step by step how to solve a problem. This involved a lot of time if then statements, for loops, and logical operations.

In the future, machine will teach themselves how to solve problems, we just need to provide the data, and now, this is a radically different way of working with a computer than we’re used to as programmers and IT professionals. But where did it come from? Means where did artificial intelligence come from? Who created it?
