Big black hole near the center of the galaxy

in #science7 years ago

Tokyo: A large black hole has been found near the center of the galaxy. This black hole has been found to be surrounded by clouds of a poisonous gas, about one million times larger than our sun. If it is confirmed then it will be the second largest black hole found in the galaxy. The bigger black hole than this is Sagittarius A, which is located at the very center of the constellation.
Astronauts of Japan's Keio University were studying a cloud of gases using Alma Telescope in Chile and were trying to understand the speed of its gases. They found that molecules of elliptical cloud were being pulled by extremely intense gravitational forces. This cloud was 200 light years away from the center of the galaxy and spread within the radius of 150 trillion kilometers.
According to computer models, its most likely cause is a black hole, which is not more than 1.4 trillion kilometers. The scientists also identified the radio waves coming from the center of the cloud. These waves indicate the presence of black holes.
Tomooru Oka, the astronaut of Keo University, said, "This is the first identity of the black mass of the middle mass in the galaxy." Oka told The Guardian that this new blackhole could also be the root of an old small constellation.
