Ladies and gentlemen What you are seeing in above picture is the "The Hubble deep field". All the tiny color patches are galaxies in the universe. The story to this picture is quite interesting. Astor-physicists wanted to look into the far end of the galaxy in order to see where the edge lies in known universe. Therefore had focused on "Cold spot" in space and zoom the hubble telescope deep into that until no light rays visible. This image is one of these taken while the journey to deep space. Everything includes what Hubble sees we named today as "The known universe".
So this lead scientists come to the question, Is this the end of the galaxy? . Certainly it is not. Then why we can't see further into the deep space. Which indeed turn out to be our Hubble is quite old and not meant for deep space investigations. Therefore in 1996 with the collaboration of NASA, European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency started the project "NGST"(Next generation space telescope) . Which later on renamed as James webb space telescope as a honor of NASA's 2nd administrator. The project was a money sink. As of 2016 total project cost exceeded 16 billion US Dollars. Yet the importance of this mission was highly emphasized and been scheduled to launch at 2019 after many more delays and reschedules due to budget issues.
Lets talk about the cool features of James Webb Space Telescope. It has included infrared cameras which could identify the infrared rays emitted by first formed galaxies and structures. Which are already out of our visible vision of universe thus these light rays estimated to be 200 million years after the formation of universe. Which gets its nick name. "A Space time machine" . It can also focus deep into the "Pillars of creation" and witness how the new stars forming from the dust.
(pillars of creation)
How and why this is possible? because the JWST contains a sun shield which keep its equipment heat low as −220 °C . so they can identify even the tiniest of infrared fluctuations. Also the JWST plan to be orbit at a second Lagrange point (L2) of current earth and sun distance which is a special point where 1,500,000kms away from earth and directly opposite to the sun the special nature of this place allow JWST to have same time frame as earth to orbit around sun so the rays from sun wont infiltrate the IR cameras.

Lets hope this is going to be a revolutionary change in our vision of universe and discover many more marvelous incidents. Please comment bellow your ideas and suggestions.

This is really amazing dear. I love to read info about universe and stuff. keep sharing
Thank you. and me too love the beauty of univerise
funny to say but during my younger years i dreamed to be an astronaut and everytime i see stars real happiness comes within
I don't know how but it seems we both having the same blood. i guess we born in the wrong era
Nice artical
Thank you Shyam
