Habitable planets could exist around neutron stars: Study

in #science7 years ago

A Cambridge University research has theorised that
habitable planets exist around spinning neutron stars
called pulsars that emit short pulses of radiation. Such
planets must have an enormous atmosphere that con?
verts X—rays and high energy particles ofthe pulsar into
heat. Researchers have studied about 3000 pulsars in
the Milky Way and found only five pulsar planets so far.

Many more habitable planets have been discovered by Kepler telescope also. I hope to see humans to be an interplanetary species in our life time.
