Hola people... I'm back to Steemit and I really hope that I'm back for good. I took a long and unrewarding break from Steemit and I really regret it😢. It's a good thing I'm back here. I'll really try to put in my best (not making empty promises this time 😇).
Okay....so today, I'll be talking about saving our own earth, our one and only earth from becoming a memory. In recent years, if we've been observant, we would have noticed that our earth is slowly and gradually perishing or should I say fading away or dying off or diminishing. I don't really know but our earth is doing one of those things and we are the sole cause. The creator who knows best created everything so well but we, no, I mean you guys as humans have disrupted the good work the creator toiled so hard to put in place.

How are we doing this you may ask...

Well, we are either destroying our world consciously or unconsciously. The unconscious act is the most dangerous one because we do these harmful stuffs unknowingly and then it keeps building up and soon,it will become really horrible and our earth will be gone forever. DREADFUL!! 😱
So let me tell you guys about the harmful stuff you are doing and how you are gradually
finishing off the only planet that
supports life and how we're indirectly committing suicide 😔. There is this stuff we call the CARBON CYCLE. The carbon cycle is the continuous and constant circulation of carbon in its many forms between plants and animals and the environment. Every living thing, whether you believe it or not is made of carbon. Carbon is an essential part of water bodies, air and even rocks. And since the earth is not static, carbon does not stand still, it is always on the move. In the atmosphere, carbon is attached to some gas called OXYGEN to form another gas called CARBON (IV) OXIDE. Plants, green plants to be specific, use this carbon (IV) oxide together with light energy from the sun to manufacture food for all living organisms through a process known as PHOTOSYNTHESIS. Yea, you may be wondering how plants produce food for all living organisms. This is how it happens. Plants are producers and so when they manufacture their food, animals and humans who are heterotrophs or consumers get this food from them because they do not have the ability to manufacture their own food (definitely not their fault 😐). Sometimes, when this food is collected from the plants, they are gruesomely murdered 😧 and when they die and are left for million of years to decay, they turn into fossil fuels because carbon was a part of them. They could turn into fossil fuels such as coal and oil which humans, like you guys consider really important. Since these fossil fuels are so dear to humans, they burn it to produce the stuffs they think are really useful for economic development and advancement. When you humans burn these fossil fuels, most of the carbon quickly enters the atmosphere as carbon (IV) oxide. Carbon (IV) oxide is a green house gas and it helps to trap heat in the atmosphere. Without carbon (IV) oxide and other green house gases, the earth would be frozen and we definitely will not survive it. Humans, that is you guys, have burned a lot of fuels and have killed the plants which are supposed to use this carbon (IV) oxide. Because of this, there is about 30% more carbon (IV) oxide in the air today than there was 150 years ago and this causes the earth to become warmer and warmer. The warming up of the earth can be described as GLOBAL WARMING . The warming of the earth leads to a significant rise in the average sea level, exposing coastal cities to increasingly frequent and severe floods. TERRIFYING 😱.
So, burning fuels disrupts the very orderly carbon cycle and causes global warming and depletion of the ozone later that is meant to protect us.
We really don't want our earth to be gone forever and we really don't want to die because of things we could salvage. We have really good hearts and I'm sure if our earth disappears, we'll be really grieved,(I don't think we'll have a place to mourn though) so please let us stop destroying our only home and try to remedy the already done evil.
