You're right. Those that know of the problem can get frustrated that people don't understand it.

I wandered the supermarkets in despair a few Christmases ago. Mince pies, Christmas puddings and a host of other goodies All use palm oil. I spoke to the shop staff who just shrugged their shoulders. The manager didn't want to know either.

I put down the goodies and walked out, refusing to purchase the items in my basket.

I look at the ingredients of everything I buy now.

I made my own mincemeat and Christmas pudding that year and that's how it's going to be from now.

Us gingers have to watch out for each other.
