I recently created this tiny little necklace pendant and am completely enamored with this tiny little Cobalto Calcite Crystal.

Isn't it the Cutest?

Cobalto Calcite is probably one of the prettiest mineral formations I've seen. It's color runs from lavender to even a dark fuschia pink!

Per minerals.net:

Cobalto Calcite refers to an intermediary mineral between Calcite and Sphaerocobaltite in a solid solution series. It is most often perceived as a cobalt-rich variety of Calcite with a rich pink color. (Cobaltocalcite may also be mistakenly used as a synonym for Sphaerocobaltite).

And like so many other pink stones, Cobalto Calcite is associated with love.

A big big part of me is wishing that I had placed this tiny little crystal in a ring setting for myself!

To late now! I'll just have to go find another Cobalto Calcite Crystal that speaks to me like this one!

Oh and did I mention recently, that one of the localrock stores I frequent is expanding?

Bummer!

.....but only because it'll be closed for about a week!
