RE: Basic physics: Buoyancy

in #science8 years ago

Hi,

I have a few comments about your post.

  • You could have cited Archimedes' principle, which is at the end of the day what buoyancy is about
  • You attach too much importance to symbols and units. At the end, you can choose whatever symbol you would like to use for a quantity, and the system of units you prefer. The physics does not care about that. From your post, this is not clear.
  • Finally, buoyancy is not really a fundamental topic in physics but more a basic one (which is why it is taught at the high school level).

Thanks for considering my comments that could possibly improve your post. If you have any question, do not hesitate to come back to me.
