It can print a nose within 30 minutes and it can cost you anywhere between $10,000 and $39,000.

It's equipped with dual, high powered fans producing powerful airflow. It's equipped with a lot of cool specs, from it's built in self sterilizer to it's touch display. No need to take the latex off, just proceed with the scientific work.

Erik Gatenholm is the chief executive and co-founder of a small Swedish company called Cellink. Even though he is currently focused on cartilage and skin cells suitable for drug testing, Erik believes that his company will make a major breakthrough in 20 years by being able to make implantations on real humans.

With $1.5 million in sales it's first year, most of Cellink's sales have so far been to academic institutions in the US, Asia and Europe, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and University College London.

A wonderful invention. I can only hope Eli Musk teams up with this great duo. We will see how that goes. Link to official article down below.

Technology really is coming on leaps and bounds, cheers

"It can print a nose within 30 minutes"

Someone failed at branding, it should be called Pinocchio ;-)

There's a great future in producing things on demand. Small runs just weren't viable before and medical applications will be part of this. After all everyone has a different nose

good but quite EXPENSIVE.

Depending on what organs you need, not so much. A single heart is ~$250k, IIRC.

perfect invention, it will save lifes, thanks for sharing

Someday.. just someday...
Maybe you could modify your “manhood” size shape and color at you home.

it's my pleasure sir @joseph

This is incredible! It's hard to imagine that this is happening now.
Just to think of the world that our grandchildren will have. I know that it in no way will be perfect but it will be pretty fricken cool!

This is crazy, i wonder where we will be in 30 years with tech

Incredible

good article

a fantastically promising technology that could revolutionise prosthetic and cosmetic implants or replacements and make it affordable for masses. Hope it really takes off before long - and for that the production costs should decline to an affordable level for masses.

You should also check out Organovo. They print livers. Human livers.

Great scientific advances will help the medical area very effectively
