Orcas are also known as killer whales because they attack almost all the species in the sea including large whales. They live in a group of up to 40 members and do not stay in a single area.
A Study revealed that a group of Orcas traveled more then 2000Km from Alaska to Central California. They can adapt to any climate, like warm waters near the equator or icy waters of south pole region.
Orcas use different kind of hunting technique and it's ulimate weapon is its brain. They move towards the shore to catch seals on land and they work together when they hunt larger whales.
Orcas use echolocation to track/communicate with each other and they can find out the size and distance of an object using this echolocation.
Below video shows orca hunting a seal by creating a pool of waves, making seal no escape.
