I love Google Earth! It's not only the perfect travel planner or an infinite source of information but it's also stunning. I'll try to share my favourite google earth imagery with you!
Today I've found this meandering river in the Amazon basin. It's constantly cutting its own river bends off creating narrow lakes, called oxbow lakes. I really like the contrast of the swirling river to the never-ending sea of trees. This is meandering at its best!
