Hello, Sea Explorer.
To confirm your authorship of the content, could you please add the word "Hive" to your Youtube profile?

You can remove this mention once we confirm the authorship.
Thank you.

What kind of idiot nonsense are you talking about? He's just quoting a YouTube video about the boat at the start of the post: it's background information about the BOAT which is THE POSTER of this.
Are we not allowed to quote relevant videos posted by others in posts on Hive????
If I want to comment on a YouTube video and I put it at the top of the post and the comment on it, are you going to ask me to only do that on videos I host on YouTube???
This is not right.
Needs to prove that intellectual property that has been used for monetisation (photographs and videos from trips published by www.totallyjewishtravel.com) was transferred to the new owner.
Talk to @guiltyparties.
I (SV Sea Explorer) use Hive as my main website and I am also promoted on other websites which link back to my Hive blog.
This is good for Hive and an example that other Hiveans with commercial enterprises may wish to follow.
If you did your research you would see that most content is published FIRST on Hive and only then put on other websites with links back.
Your witch hunt into entirely legitimate private commercial arrangements that are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS is extremely damaging to Hive and is making me reconsider my use of this platform.
If you think I'm on Hive for the money (a few dollars) you are complete idiot. I charter for many thousands of Euros a day!
I'm on Hive because I believe in it and your conduct is destroying that belief as you have pushed many other good Hiveans away.

Sea Explorer is a ship. It does not own this content, and is not claiming ownership, but this content was shot aboard it. The content is owned by the previous owner of Sea Explorer, Terre Marine, a French NGO.
Do you mean that the content is monetised without the knowledge of the member of the crew who created it?
Do you mean that @hivewatchers has a problem with linking relevant Youtube videos (with attribution) as a small part of a broader post? This is acceptable use under copyright law and normal behaviour on Hive.
No, copying and pasting (spamming copypasta) someone's content without permission from the author for monetisation has always been frowned upon by the community (except abusers and abuse enablers). It has been like this since 2016. The Hive ecosystem is not Facebook.
Considering your response on behalf of this account, I suspect now that you have something to do with it (own it?)
The "previous owner" was never mentioned. The mention was edited after.
The blog had been expressing itself as if it were the owner of all those videos and footage and personally took part in all these past events.
This account will be blacklisted now.
The owner of this account is a ship and it DID personally take part in these events as is clear from the video itself. Ships have legal personality.
SV Sea Explorer is perfectly entitled to use this video taken of it by its previous owner.
This is not abuse.
YOU are engaging in abuse.
You are WAY beyond your remit, are ignorant of the law and your high handed attitude has pushed away many good users.
This is utter rubbish. It is standard practice on Hive to include links to YouTube videos of 3rd party content relevant to your post.
Have a look at the large majority of posts for Three Tune Tuesday as just one example.

Actually the intellectual property related to Sea Explorer would likely have transferred to the new owner with the sale of Sea Explorer.
Misleading information.
When buying a yacht/boat/ship, intellectual property rights like design, technology, or other creative elements do not automatically transfer to the buyer. While the buyer acquires ownership of the physical yacht itself, the designer or creator typically retains the intellectual property rights.
You know nothing about the contractual arrangements between buyer and seller of a ship and nor are you entitled to. Transfer of intellectual property rights in relation to a ship is quite normal.
You are taking a guilty until proven innocent approach that is defamatory and misleading and deceptive in breach of multiple laws.
