Instead of spouting crap where it has no place or relevance, maybe try posting intelligently thought out discussions and articles on the appropriate platforms. Yeah, sure, you have a voice...but right now it's nothing more than meaningless rantings that no one bothers to read because you spam them.
You are viewing a single comment's thread from:
So copy/pasting the same article 4 times as a response is "fighting a real fight", huh? Oh man, you sure showed me! If you want to continue this campaign of lunacy, you do so at the expense of your own time, energy and reputation (which already seems to be nonexistent); it has little effect on the rest of us, so who is really losing the "real fight"? Feel free to continue wasting your effort posting comments that have been so heavily flagged they remain unseen (what's the point?).
You also seem to be under the (mistaken) impression that because you have a voice, it gives you the freedom to silence others. The irony of the situation is that by flagging yourself into oblivion, you have silenced yourself and your message.
If you want to tout morality, maybe you begin acting like a decent human being. Write your own posts to share your opinion instead of spamming posts other people put their time and energy into. These posts are written to educate, entertain and spark discussion, which you tarnish with your irrelevant comments. It would be no different if you went to a musical performance and as the musician finished, some idiot jumped on stage and began blasting his own guitar solo. It's immature, inappropriate, rude and foolish.
Lastly, you COULD have taken my last comment as advice. If you followed proper channels and posted content reasonably, you'd probably have yourself a good following and support. Anything you write from here on out is not going to be taken seriously by anyone. So enjoy the "real fight".
Congratulations @livemoral, you've been added to @thedumpster for being such a piece of trash!
I am sorry if you feel my original statement was harsh but I do have to stand behind it. You are correct, your original post did not attack me in words, however as an author, I feel I have the right to defend my work. Using my posts to spread your own work feels like a personal attack; I (and others) do not appreciate when someone attaches their own posts to our work (again I allude to the musician analogy). On my posts, I am looking for relevant questions, comments and discussions and I feel your comments detract from such. I understand you have feelings and views you wish to share, but it is rude to do so in the manner you did here.
In my second comment, I mentioned you could have taken my first as advice. I stand behind that as well. I truly feel if you took the time to post your arguments in the proper channels, you would find traction and support. Was I harsh? Yes, absolutely, because posting comments that detract from my work feels like an attack. I have no desire to control anyone (and I hope that's not what I'm projecting) but I do wish that I and my work be treated with respect. I would have nothing against your work if it wasn't being shared on mine.
The point is, I wish you and any other user on steemit well (this is why I posted such a lengthy response, I do actually care about this community), but only so long as I am treated well. I do ask that if you take anything away from this, it is to rethink how you are sharing your content and how you come across when you share your work on other's posts.
I hope this makes sense (am really trying to be level-headed here and not condescending). You have a good night as well.
