But a year over 10,500 days long?
That's what you would get on Saturn and they finally have been able to pin down the exact length of a day on Saturn.
You can read all about it here

How would birthdays work?
One every 29 earth years, for one year on saturn, you may make a few birthdays, but no more.
Think I'll stay on Earth.

You would never make it to 1 year old. So youd never see your birthday again.
😳 Good grief.

In theory one could continue to use the earth time structure for a year, but it wouldn't really represent anything if you were living on Saturn. I've no idea how we would deal with these concepts, were we to become a multi planetary species in the future.
Some guy invented time based on seconds for interplanetary colonisation.

jajajaja, no viviríamos ni un octavo de año! maravilloso.
That would be good for not so active persons, because work is for 3 or 4 hours only.

Sounds like the perfect place for retirement!!
Interesting enough another group of scientists was able to pin that down based on Saturn's gravity field back in 2015. And they got almost the same value: 10 hours 32 minutes 45 seconds with an uncertainty of 46 seconds.
Well, at least on Saturn the payouts of our posts on steemit would come faster.
¿Wouldn't you like that? LoL
