Wow, Great info, learnt a lot. A few questions, why do those 90 of the T-lymphocytes kill themselves, why don't they just remain hence providing better protection since more is better than less. Also, in the case of chicken pox, can we say the reason why you don't get infected twice rather the infection does not survive in your system twice is because the T-lymphocytes remembered the nature of the chicken pox virus last, and then handled it before it could cause any damage.

Imagine that after every infection, all the T cells stay in your system. That's just too much after a while and clutters up everything.

Chicken pox actually stay in your system as they're related to herpes. They can flare up again decades later, usually when you're already 50 or 60. Really not cool.

A new infection can usually be stopped by the T cells that remember.
