What do you guys think after hearing that sentence?

Many lay people think that wormholes and black holes are the same. Package. One factory. But it is not.

The wormhole is the gateway to other places in the universe. While the black hole is a thing that suck up whatever is nearby and carry a sucked object somewhere. But why do so many people assume that they are the same?
Because it comes to mind that black holes suck an object to another place in the universe. So black hole = wormhole. It's the same as alien = ufo.

In the movie Interstellar it appears that the wormhole and black hole is different. But is that true?

Yes. Black hole is different from the wormhole. They are not the same thing.
When we hear the word "black hole", it's very easy to think it's a weird black hole that sucks anything with its greed. However, the black hole is not a hole despite its name like that. It is named after it because it behaves like a hole (sucking anything).
Dark balls called black holes are actually areas of space where gravity is so strong that even light can not escape. Therefore, the black hole is totally black, because light can not reach the eye due to gravitational pull. Where there is gravity there must be a source. The source of the black hole's gravity lies in the heart of the dark black hole --- a very small object but has a mass of thousands to millions of times the mass of the sun.

Any object that is sucked into a black hole instead of going elsewhere in the universe or into the middle of nowhere, but it will be pulled, torn to the atomic level and finally united with the heart of the black hole (Uh, sadistic)

So do not get me wrong again. Black hole is different from the wormhole.
