I wonder how many people reading this are aware that we are currently in a Magnetic Pole Excursion. I also wonder how many people are aware that we have less than ten months before the poles could reach a point they will flip.

During the Laschamp Excursion Earth's magnetic field declined to a minimum of 5% of its strength.

Radiocarbon dating reveals that the tree was alive from 42,500–41,000 years ago, within the timeframe of the event.

I actually question this statement in the Wikipedia article.

Carbon-14 is produced in the upper layers of the troposphere and the stratosphere by thermal neutrons absorbed by nitrogen atoms. When cosmic rays enter the atmosphere, they undergo various transformations, including the production of neutrons.

Natural Production of Carbon 14

Carbon 14 has a half-live of 5730±40 years. If the Carbon 14 level doubled during the Laschamp Event as a consequence of the protective shield dropping, it would push the date of the event to around 48,000 years ago.
