Different types of asthma triggers can trigger the asthma attack but it is very important to know what are the symptoms of asthma attack. Sometime people start coughing without any known reason like sour throat caused by viral infection and soon, they start feeling tight chest. There breathing speeds up and gets shallower, making them feel short of breath.
Now we do know the common symptoms of asthma but the question is why do people get asthma and what is the affect of asthma triggers on our lungs. Asthma affects our respiratory system, especially our smaller air ways, such as the bronchi and bronchioles.
These airways have an inner lining called the mucosa that is surrounded by a layer of smooth muscles. People that suffer from asthma, the airways are chronically inflamed, which can make them hyper responsive to certain triggers.
Some common asthma triggers are tobacco smoke , pollen, dust, fragrances, exercise and event the stress. This world is unpredictable and one can encounter any of the above mentioned trigger at any time. The first treatment for the asthma is inhaler which can help not only in controlling but also preventing asthmatic symptoms. Inhaler are useful as they help in transporting medication directly to the affected airways. Inhalers are known to be very effective and they have helped many people in their lives.
One of the more useful methods of managing with asthma is yoga and breathing exercises. this allows your lungs to expand, melts the pathways due to increased oxygen and accelerates metabolism which is very important for fighting asthma. This is great preventive therapy and will definitely wean you off medicines.
If you want temporary remedies, then try rubbing hot mustard oil on your chest and back. You should do it for around 15 mins which forces circulation to speed up in the area and creates a positive breathing experience. I have seen it work for a lot of people in tropical areas
