Growing an avocado from a seed using only water DIY

I opened an avocado and I noticed the seed was already germinating. So, I placed it in water from a cut out soda bottle. As you can see I put the bottom of the seed on the water so the roots can have access to the water. I made sure where I placed the seed had enough direct sun light. Very important you do this as time goes by you'll see the plant growing towards the sun. The water will begin to evaporate, so make sure the water is always touching the seed. Add water as needed.
