This video is a really good question like that, asking why do we believe we live on a spinning ball. And it's mostly because there is a globe in every classroom from when we first go, and that's what we are told. We never really question or understand how society came to that conclusion. It's an exercise in critical thinking, and I think every once in a while we should think about our beliefs and see how we came to believe them.
