Great post. What are your thoughts on mercury in the ocean? I sat in a hazmat class and the instructor talked about how back in the day the coast guard would ditch the old nav buoy batteries in the ocean. Just a drop in the bucket compared to all the other pollution, but still sad.

It's going to become a serious concern as more and more of the Earth's population comes to rely on ocean farming for nourishment. I don't know what the right answer is. Local area filtration possibly.
