In Scandinavia will be the first blockchain conference

The first blockchain conference in Scandinavia will take place on August 26 in Helsinki. Among the speakers announced representatives LocalBitcoins and Bitnation.

The aim of the conference is to promote information about blockchain technology and its main advantages and the investment potential for a wide range of stakeholders.

The conference will last one day. Participation in the event is free, but pre-registration is required as space is limited — no more than 200 people.

The list of participants includes leading the Bitnation Ambassador Eric Volstad, co-founder and CEO of one of the world's largest bitcoin exchange site LocalBitcoins, Nikolaus Kangas, the representative of the decentralized marketplace Augur Peron Design, founder and Director, decentralized platform for publications DECENT Matej michalko, Director of marketing investment blockchain platform Funderbeam Mads Emil Dalsgaard and others.

"Our goal is to talk about the possibilities of investing in startups with the technology, the blockchain, in the early stages. And to help the audience understand the companies they are most interested," explained Dalsgaard.

The conference will consist of several discussion panels. The first one will be devoted to the discussion of blockchain technology, the basics of its functioning, smart contracts and Ethereum ecosystem. The second discussion focuses on the discussion of the existing "revolutionary projects" in the blockchain sector and their prospects. For the third debate will be told about the investment potential of the industry, statistics on transactions with startups, investment dynamics and market volume of the segment. The conference will end pitches of startups and a gala evening event.
